Medical Terms and Clinical Standards

Dr Bhavin Garara is a GMC-registered medical doctor (GMC No. 7155707). All treatments are delivered in accordance with current clinical standards, JCCP guidance, and relevant medical regulations.

Before any treatment, a full medical history and facial or clinical assessment will be completed. Patients are strongly encouraged to consider all treatment options carefully, to ask questions freely, and not to feel pressured into any procedure.

The use and indications for all products and devices used at Zuri Medical Clinic will be explained prior to treatment. Patients will have the opportunity to have all questions answered to their satisfaction before proceeding.

Results from aesthetic and regenerative medicine treatments vary between individuals. Outcomes depend on factors including skin type, age, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare. No guarantee of specific results is made or implied.

Injection Treatments — Risk Information

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment (Botulinum Toxin Type A)

Patients will be advised of the expected outcomes and risks associated with botulinum toxin treatment based on the current product Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC). Risks discussed include: redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site (typically mild and self-resolving); headache; feeling of heaviness in the upper face; drooping of eyelids or eyebrows (ptosis); dry eyes; blurred vision; nausea; and, rarely, excessive muscle weakness.

The duration of effect typically ranges between 2 and 4 months, depending on the product used, the area treated, and individual patient factors. The clinic accepts no responsibility for the effects lasting shorter or longer than expected. Follow-up treatments are charged as new procedures.

Dermal Fillers and Biostimulators

Patients will be informed of the expected outcomes and risks associated with dermal filler and biostimulator treatment. Common injection-related side effects include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, and itching at the treatment site, which are generally mild and resolve within a few days.

Approximately 1 in 10,000 patients has experienced a delayed localised inflammatory reaction following filler treatment. On very rare occasions, vascular occlusion causing skin discolouration or tissue damage has been reported. Patients are made aware that visual disturbances and, very rarely, blindness have been reported following filler injection, in particular to the glabellar, periorbital, or temporal regions.

The clinic uses only CE-marked or MHRA-approved products from reputable manufacturers. Dr Garara is trained in emergency management of filler complications and carries reversal agent (hyaluronidase) at all times.

The duration of filler effect varies depending on the product and area treated, typically 6 to 18 months. Follow-up treatments are charged as new procedures.

Regenerative Treatments (PRP, Platelet-Derived Exosomes, Polynucleotides)

These treatments involve the use of biological materials (including your own blood-derived products) and carry specific associated risks which will be discussed in full at consultation. Results from regenerative treatments typically develop over several weeks and may require multiple sessions.

Retail Product Sales

We sell a curated range of medical-grade skincare products in clinic. All in-clinic product sales are final. Returns or exchanges are accepted only where a product is found to be faulty or damaged at the time of purchase.

If you believe a product is defective, please notify us within 48 hours of purchase at info@drbhavingarara.com. We will assess the matter and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund. Opened products cannot be returned on the basis of personal preference.

Product recommendations are made based on your skin assessment. We cannot guarantee specific results from any skincare product.

Trademarks

The name Dr Bhavin Garara, the Zuri Medical Clinic name, the UHai brand, and associated logos are trademarks or trading names of Afyatech Ltd. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

Governing Law
